The Early Development Services (EDS) group at PRA International focuses on Phase I and IIa studies. These studies aim at Phase I and IIa clinical research, bioanalytical research, and data support. More than 100 complex studies and 200 bioanalytical studies are conducted annually with study populations including healthy volunteers, specialized populations, and populations with specific medical conditions.
PRA International has facilities in the United States, The Netherlands, and Central Europe, and recently opened a Phase I facility in Prague, Czech Republic. The state-of-the-art medical building provides ten beds and features ‘unit-on-demand’ services. These services bring Phase I center to the patient, creating a study environment in the medical facility. This accredited model allows studies to take place in a single center or in multiple centers and in multiple countries.
PRA International provides services through all phases of clinical development across all therapeutic areas. PRA has an active volunteer pool of more than 30,000 healthy individuals in addition to access to patient populations in specific therapeutic areas.
