ODIN learned from real-world experience in over 500 RFID projects, designing and deploying the largest and most complex RFID systems in the world that RFID 1.0 would never scale. Our engineers identified recurring issues that took time and specialized knowledge to resolve; so we decided to automate the solutions with specialized RFID software. Our clients told us we had to deploy accurate RFID systems without adding more servers to their network or another costly and cumbersome enterprise application that meant no more "RFID Middleware". Large-scale end users called for a new operating system specifically for RFID, an RFID software that simplified the architecture, increased accuracy and was embedded on the readers.
